Our belt webbing is made of 85% post-consumer recycled REPREVE®️ polyester and 15% rubber. REPREVE® is the leading brand of recycled performance yarn, and gives waste a second life by repurposing post-consumer plastic bottles into high grade performance material. Our webbing has been tested extensively to ensure uncompromised performance and durability, while making far less of an impact on the environment.

Does the Woody belt stretch?

Yes. The Woody is built with performance stretch webbing so it moves with you all day, whether you're sitting, standing, or on the go.

Is the buckle metal-free?

Yes. The Woody has a metal-free, micro-adjustable buckle with a tapered design. It's a great choice for travel since it won't set off metal detectors.

What is the webbing made from?

The webbing is made from recycled REPREVE® polyester, so you're wearing material built from post-consumer recycled content.

Can I machine wash the Woody?

Yes. The Woody is machine washable. Skip the dryer though and let it air dry instead.

How wide is the Woody?

The Woody webbing is 1.5 inches wide, a versatile width that works well with most everyday pants, jeans, and shorts.

    Excellent quality way better than expected

    I've purchased other adventure belts and was really let down by what I got. I found this belt company by accident and really liked the designs and the name. I decided heck let me try it. My expectations were low because of my previous purchase of the other brand adventure belt. I decided to buy two and my son saw it. He liked the one so much that I gave it to him. He absolutely loves it. Wears it all the time. I like the quality, fit, and style. I'm actually thinking about buying another one to replace the one I gave my son.

    The material and quality is

    The material and quality is all great. However, I have a tough time sliding it through my belt loops on and off. The open clip always gets snagged on the loop and it is a pain to unsnag it. Are there any tricks here? I'd imagine other folks are having this issue?

    Side note, I put my belt on starting on my right side, but if I do that with this belt that means the mountain picture on the buckle is upside down. Would there be any way for me to adjust this. If not, it will just be a fun challenge to learn how to put my belt on the opposite way.

    Love you guys and the whole team up there, just some issues I have been having.

    Hey Patrick,

    Really appreciate you taking the time to share this, and we're glad to hear you’re loving the material and overall quality.

    For getting it through belt loops, you will want to weave leading with the male end of the buckle. When pulling the belt our you will have to be a bit more conscientious so that it doesn't snag, or you can just leave your belt in your pants as they can handle the wash. Lastly, we do make slim belts, which might be a better fit for you if your pants have smaller belt loops.

    On the orientation, that’s a great callout. The buckle is designed to feed from a specific direction (your left), which is why the logo flips if you start from the opposite side. There isn’t a way to reconfigure that, but most folks find switching sides becomes second nature pretty quickly.

    Really appreciate the thoughtful feedback—this kind of detail is super helpful for us.

    I'm giving this a generous

    I'm giving this a generous 4 stars because it did point me in a new direction with my belts.

    Pros:

    - A heavy elastic belt does reduce constant adjustments and problems with my micro adjustable leather belts.

    Cons:

    - I had to use pliers to pull the belt through the loop on my Leatherman Charge sheath.

    - While the best is technically micro adjustable, adjusting it is annoying and inconvenient, especially with a sheath attached that needs pliers to remove and replace.

    The good news is that trying this led me to realize that Mission Belts has a small selection of heavy elastic belts that are easy to adjust and don't require pliers.

    A belt with a view.

    I love this belt. I bought one for myself and my son to remind us of our Fly Fishing trips in Montana. These belts are awesome. I have a bunch of them.
